Welcome from the Owner

Dominion picture

Hello, and welcome to DominionDryerVent.com, a business committed to Quality, Integrity, and Affordability. My name is Kyle Kieswether, and I am proud to both own and operate Dominion Dryer Vent Cleaning. From my point of view, one of the beauties of small businesses like this one is that you always know exactly who you’re dealing with. In fact, I think my customers feel the same way. The person you see on the website is the same person you will speak to on the phone and who will be on site performing the service.

As a small business owner, my primary goal is to provide a quality service, demonstrate integrity in all my work, and to do it all at an affordable price. It is not necessarily my goal to offer the lowest price, though you will find me less expensive than most of my competitors, but a price that is fair, both for me and my customers.

Part of striving for quality and integrity means seeking to be someone who my customers can trust. Someone they can look to year after year to provide them with a quality service. To be someone they will be delighted to recommend to their friends and family. This is indeed my goal and I believe that it becomes readily apparent to all who employ my services.

Below you will find information regarding the details of each of my services. If you are interested in setting up an appointment, or merely in getting a quote, please head over to the contact page and call or email me. Thanks for stopping by!

Dryer Vent Cleaning

A 2007 U.S. Fire Administration report stated that more than 15,000 fires every year are caused by lint buildup in dryer vents, making dryer vent cleaning an extremely important service. However, fire prevention is not the only reason to keep your dryer vent clean.

Keeping your dryer vent clean:

-Prevents dryer fires
-Clothes dry faster, saving you money by keeping your dryer energy efficient.
-Reduces stress on your dryer, meaning longer life and fewer repairs.

Lint buildup in your dryer’s venting system will reduce the flow of hot, moist air coming from your dryer. This can either have the effect of  heating up the lint to the point that it can spark into flame, or even more commonly, the lint will actually begin to absorb the moisture that is being vented out of your dryer, creating a thick soggy clog. This will restrict the air flow even more than a dry lint buildup, which not only causes your dryer to be inefficient, taking multiple loads to dry your clothes,  but this can also cause your your dryer’s components to malfunction and potentially start a fire within the dryer itself.

Air Duct Cleaning

EPA studies have shown the air in the average home to be 3 to 5 times more polluted than outdoor air, and sometimes much worse. The primary reason for this is that, in the interest of energy efficiency, homes today are constructed to be airtight, which ensures that pollutants in your homes air stay in your home, being recirculated through your homes duct work via the heating and cooling system. Pollen, Pet Dander, Chemicals, Smoke, Dust, Debris, Mold and Microbes are among the more common contaminates being circulated through the duct work. This should be of particular concern to those who suffer from asthma or other allergies. At this point, the best known way to address the issue of indoor air quality is through the cleaning of the homes duct work through which these contaminates pass.

Gutter Cleaning

guttersGutters are designed to catch the rain water coming from your roof and move that water safely away from your home. But gutters that are clogged with leaves, needles and other debris, will hold that water, causing your gutters to rust and break down over time. This can even cause water damage to your home itself. Annual gutter cleaning is an essential home maintenance service that keeps your gutters and home safe from water damage and the necessary repairs that come with those problems.

Services include:

  • Coming soon: Moss Removal

Pressure Washing

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERALiving in the wet Pacific Northwest means dealing with moss, mildew and algae growth on patios and porches, decks and driveways, and pretty much any other hard surfaces that are exposed to the elements. That means not just dirty, but also slippery surfaces that have the potential to cause slips and falls and the injuries that result from them. Pressure washing is a great way to maintain the beauty and safety of your home and property by eliminating all the dirt, grime and growth that builds up over the course of the wet Northwest year.

Window Cleaning

Having your windows cleaned may not reduce your energy bill, window washing 2prevent fires, keep your air clean or your home free from water damage like some of my other services will. But it is an essential part of keeping your home clean and beautiful. Windows are meant to be seen through, to be clear, letting the light in and allowing us to see out. They beautify our home in ways that we often take for granted. Dirty windows detract from this beauty in a way that is hard to miss. This is obvious every time we look out through them. Keeping your windows clean maintains the beauty of your home and allows you to take pride in it, as they are the lens through which so much else is seen.
